Black Robin Books is Anne’s imprint. The name was inspired by a very rare New Zealand bird, the black robin, rescued from extinction with just one last remaining breeding pair Old Blue and Old Yellow on the Chatham Islands in 1980. Thanks to the dedication of conservationalists and the amazing power of life an example was set and something fragile and precious was saved and multiplied.
